Episode Title: "The Stalker"
Original Air Date: 03/17/1998
Mac is pursued by an unknown stalker, and she suspects that her ex-boyfriend, Dalton Lowne, is the culprit. His recent behavior lends credence to her theory, so she arranges a meeting with Lowne to clear the air. However, on his way to meet with Mac, Lowne is killed during an apparent carjacking. But the stalking continues.
Mac relents to a final meeting with her ex-boyfriend Dalton Lowne, who's carjacked and shot en route. Meanwhile, Admiral Chegwidden's daughter visits; Mac and Harm defend a CPO accused of beating a prostitute.
The stress of her boyfriend's murder and the fact that she's being stalked drives Mac, a recovering alcoholic, back to the bottle, on a special episode of JAG.
Following her ugly break-up with Dalton Lowne, Mac has reason to believe that he's stalking her -- until he's killed during an apparent car-jacking and the stalking continues. Much to Harm's dismay, the strain of the two events pushes Mac to the edge -- and to the bottle. Concerned for Mac's safety and sobriety, Harm intensifies his search for Mac's tormentor before he causes her bodily harm.

"Recovering alcoholic Mac (Catherine Bell) is plagued by multiple problems in this new episode. Convinced that she's being stalked, she suspects a former boyfriend of being the culprit, but he is killed during a carjacking attempt. Distressed over that, she finds that she's still being pursued, and the emotional toll the situation takes on her prompts her to start drinking again (TVPG)."
