"Baby, It's Cold Outside" -- Harm defends a down-and-out Marine veteran accused of felony assault and facing prison under the three strike law, on JAG, Tuesday, Jan. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mark Horowitz directed the episode from a script by Stephen Zito.
Sgt. Craig, a Marine whose life fell apart after he was found guilty of being responsible for the deaths of two Marine recruits during a training exercise, finds himself facing a third strike and a lengthy prison term after assaulting a man who was beating his son. Harm decides to defend Craig, using the argument that it was the Marine Corps, not Craig, who was responsible for the two previous deaths. Meanwhile, Chegwidden finds his military career in jeopardy when he defies the Secnav.

Synopsis: A civilian prosecutor is going after a Navy vet who has "three strikes" against him. When Harm learns that one of the strikes is a questionable court martial conviction, he seeks to have the ruling overturned.
Harm tries to keep a staff sergeant from going to jail on the three-strikes rule by expunging what he beileves was an unfair conviction in a prior trial.
