CHINA TAKES A U.S. NAVY SPY PLANE AND ITS CREW HOSTAGE AFTER A MID-AIR COLLISION WITH A CHINESE FIGHTER RESULTS IN THE DEATH OF ITS PILOT, ON "JAG," NOV. 20, IN PART 1 OF A TWO-PART EPISODE
"Dog Robber Part I" -- The Chinese government, claiming that a U.S. Navy spy plane invaded its air space and collided with a Chinese fighter plane killing its pilot, takes the damaged spy plane and its crew hostage, in part one of a two-part episode of JAG, Tuesday, Nov. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Terrence O'Hara directed the episode from a script by Stephen Zito.
Harm is sent to China as part of a military delegation to facilitate the freeing of the crew and plane, which is outfitted with highly sensitive surveillance equipment. Working on a hunch, Harm brings evidence to the Chinese that successfully forces the release of the U.S. crew, but not the plane. Then, as Harm returns safely with the crew to a U.S. aircraft carrier, one of the U.S. Navy fighter escorts returns to the Chinese airfield against orders and takes matters into his own hands.
