"Exculpatory Evidence" -- Tensions run high at JAG when charges of negligence are brought against Bud for not defending his last client effectively, on JAG, Tuesday, March 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Harvey Laidman directed the episode from a script by Eric Morris.
As Harm defends Bud, Sturgis prosecutes and Bud dreads that Sturgis has damaging evidence against him. But just when Bud thinks things can't get any worse, Sturgis calls a surprise witness -- Mac -- who reluctantly takes the stand against her colleague.
Tensions run high at JAG when charges of negligence are brought against Bud for not defending his last client effectively. As Harm defends Bud, Sturgis prosecutes and Bud fears that Sturgis has damaging evidence against him. Just when Bud thinks things can't get any worse, Sturgis calls a surprise witness - Mac - who reluctantly takes the stand against her colleague.
Bud is on trial for dereliction of duty when an investigation suggests that he did not provide a competent defense for his client.
Conclusion. Harm defends and Cmdr. Turner prosecutes when Lt. Roberts (Patrick Labyorteaux) is charged with dereliction of duty in a case involving a petty officer. Lt. Sims: Karri Turner. Adm. Chegwidden: John M. Jackson. Harm: David James Elliott.
