Episode Title: "Tribunal"
Original Air Date: 04/30/2002
In the first military tribunal concerning the events of September 11th, Harm and Mac prosecute a suspected Al Queda terrorist accused of being the chief architect of the attack on New York City.
The series again blends current events with drama in this episode about efforts to bring a fictional Al Qaeda leader to justice.
The capture of Mustafa Atef (Marc Casabani), who's suspected of training terrorists for the Sept. 11 attacks, leads to the scheduling of the first U.S. military tribunal in 50 years, to be held aboard the USS Seahawk. Adm. Chegwidden (John M. Jackson) decides to defend Atef and Cdr. Turner (Scott Lawrence) volunteers for second chair, while Mac and Harm prosecute. Hoping to find a witness for their side, Mac and the CIA's Clayton Webb travel to a prison camp in Afghanistan, where Mac's life is threatened during an uprising. Judge Sebring: Corbin Bernsen
