A computer expert (Danica McKellar) claims to have witnessed a murder in the apartment across the way, but investigators find no physical evidence of a crime.

"Witness" -- Gibbs gives McGee a shot at running a case when the NCIS team is called to investigate when a woman claims to have witnessed the murder of a sailor, on NCIS, Tuesday, Feb. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. James Whitmore, Jr. directed the episode from a script by George Schenck and Frank Cardea.
Danica McKellar ("The Wonder Years") guest stars as Erin Kendall, a pretty and very smart computer expert who witnesses the apparent murder of a sailor in the apartment across from hers.
With skimpy evidence to go on, Gibbs turns the case over to McGee, who believes the woman's story is enough to continue the case. But when physical evidence of a crime isn't there, McGee pushes the team to keep looking because he senses there's more to her story than meets the eye.
